Doohan has brought a new cheap electric scooter Idou in Nepali market. The scooter will be unveiled in a week’s time, according to the official distributor Kaliber Auto. The price of this scooter is set at Rs 160,000.

Hero Electric has made a comeback in Nepal with the debut of three different electric two-wheeler models in the domestic market.

Laxmi e-Mobility, the official distributor of Hero Electric for Nepal, is currently operating a showroom in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu and plans to expand its dealer network across the country in the near future.

Only four of Hero’s electric two-wheelers have made it to Nepal from India. The maximum speed of Hero scooters is 45kmph. The advantage of the scooter’s low speed is that it has a range of 82-165 kilometers. The scooter’s charging time is between four and five hours.

The Bravo Electric Scooter is equipped with 3 KW motor and comes in two options of 20 ampere 72 volt and 40 amp 72 volt battery.

The Bravo Electric Scooter can be operated with single or dual battery option. With a single battery it offers a riding range of 100 kms while dual battery extends the range to 200 kms.

With a fast charging option, it takes a maximum of 2 hours to fully charge this scooter while a normal charger takes around 4 hours .

CG Motor under Chaudhary Group has launched two Ola electric scooters in the Nepali market. The company made the announcement at the NADA EV Expo which started today.

The company has launched the S One and S One Pro models produced by Ola, India’s famous ride and sharing company, in Nepali market. Both these scooters have a lot of similarities, but there are differences in price and range.

It was not possible to bring Ola brand earlier to Nepal due to low production and high demand in India for a long time. Currently, Ola has entered Nepal with the increase of its production capacity.

Both the S One and S One Pro scooters have the same 8.5 kW motor. Both these scooters have the same torque of 58 Nm, while the battery S One has 2.98 KWh and Pro 3.97 KWh. Due to the large battery in S One Pro, it also gives more range.

Out of these two, the price of S One electric scooter is Rs 3,75,000 and the price of S One Pro is Rs 4,50,000.

Both the scooters have a 220 mm disc brake at the front and a 180 mm disc brake at the rear. 12-inch alloy wheels, tubeless tires, front single-link and rear mono-shock suspension are available.
