Doohan
Doohan e-scooters are sold by Kaliber Auto in Nepal. It is one of the few companies in Nepal that has an electric three-wheeler.
There are now four electric vehicles available from Doohan, two of which are three-wheeled scooters. However, the three-wheelers provided by Doohan are not just restricted to the elderly or individuals with disabilities; they may be ridden by anyone on a regular basis.
Doohan’s scooters have a range of 70 to 100 kilometers and a top speed of 70 kilometers per hour, depending on the scooter’s battery.

Doohan has brought a new cheap electric scooter Idou in Nepali market. The scooter will be unveiled in a week’s time, according to the official distributor Kaliber Auto. The price of this scooter is set at Rs 160,000.
The new scooter is powered by a 48 volt 46 amp hour battery and has a motor power of 350 watts. Fully charged in 5 hours, its battery has a range of 25 kilometers. This scooter can be driven at a maximum speed of 35 kilometers per hour.
It has disc brakes on both the wheels and e-AVS features will also be available. This new scooter with full LED light has an LCD digital display. This scooter seems to be suitable for riders who want to travel short distances.
Hero Electric
Hero Electric has made a comeback in Nepal with the debut of three different electric two-wheeler models in the domestic market.
Laxmi e-Mobility, the official distributor of Hero Electric for Nepal, is currently operating a showroom in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu and plans to expand its dealer network across the country in the near future.
Only four of Hero’s electric two-wheelers have made it to Nepal from India. The maximum speed of Hero scooters is 45kmph. The advantage of the scooter’s low speed is that it has a range of 82-165 kilometers. The scooter’s charging time is between four and five hours.

The NYX HX is equipped with two lithium ion batteries of 51.2 volts / 30 amp hours and a 600 watt BLDC motor. The company claims that that it can cover 165 kilometers once fully charged. It will take 4 to 5 hours to fully charge the scooter and the maximum speed is 42 kilometers per hour. The scooter also has a regenerative braking system.
The Optima HX 52.12 volts / 30 amps is available in both single and dual battery options. The scooter is equipped with a 550-watt BLDC motor with a peak power of 1,200 watts.
The company claims that that the single battery will give a range of 82 kilometers and the dual battery will give a range of 122 kilometers once the scooter is fully charged.

Pure EV
The Pure EV electric two-wheelers are affordable. Only two variants are now available, both of which have the same characteristics but differ only in design.

The latest and most recent launch from the company is a two-wheeler in the form of motorcycle with a model Etyst 350.
White Lotus Motors, the authorised dealer of PureEV brand in Nepal has brought a electric motorcycle with sleek new design. The Etryst 350 resembles a petrol powered latest motorcycle in looks and design.
It has a 3.5 kW lithium ion battery pack and a 3.0 VLDC motor hub. It has a maximum power of 4.0 kW, torque of 60 Nm and top speed of 85 kmph.
According to company claims, this motorcycle can be fully charged in 6 hours with an 84 volt charger and has a range of up to 140 kilometers.
This motorcycle can be driven in 3 different modes. It can climb up to 16 degrees and has a ground clearance of 198 mm.
Both wheels have tubeless and disc brakes. It can be started remotely with hydraulic dual suspension on both front and rear. Weighing 120 kg, the bike is claimed to carry a load of up to 160 kg.

Recently, Segway electric scooter have been launched in Nepali market. A Segway go-cart and two electric scooters have just been introduced in Nepal by I Hub Pvt Ltd, the company authorized to distribute Segway scooters in the country.
These scooters have a range of 60 to 110 kilometers on a single charge, and charging time ranges from five to eight hours. As far as top speed is concerned, the scooters can reach 58kmph on the highway.

The official debut of three Yadea e-Scooters – the Yadea C1S, the Yadea G5, and the Yadea S-Like – marks the company’s entry into the market.
Currently, Kuzu Nepal is selling 4 different models of scooters.

Unity Trading Concern, Nepal’s official dealer for Komaki , which has been selling electric scooters and bikes lately, has also launched a cruiser electric bike called Ranger in Nepal.
The bike has a 4,000 watt motor and an 80 ampere controller and has a 72 volt 50 mAh lithium ion battery. The company claims that this bike, which takes five to six hours to fully charge once, can cover a distance of 150 to 180 kilometers.
This bike has state-of-the-art features like double disc brakes, regenerative braking system, remote locking facility, self diagnosis, telescope shock absorber.
It also has features like anti theft lock, upright riding position, passenger seat, saddlebags, fork mounted fairing and side stand sensor.
Available in various modes including Eco, Comfort, Sports and Turbo, this bike has been made public in the Indian market some time ago. The company has stated that the price of the Komaki Ranger bike is set at Rs 435,000 as it is available in three different colors including black, red and blue.

Terra Motors is No.1 electric vehicle company from Japan. Its headquarter is in Tokyo,. It started its business from 2010 and Fair Auto is the sole distributor of Terra EV for Nepal Market.
Terra Motors has only one model available in Nepal at the moment. In terms of range, Terra Motors’ Eco scooter can travel 80 kilometers on a single charge, although it takes about 7-8 hours to fully charge. When pushed to its limits, this vehicle is capable of 60 kmph. The scooter’s specs may not be all that appealing compared to other models, but given its price point, this is acceptable. Chinese electric scooter brand Jumbo EV‘s ‘Bravo Electric Scooter’ has entered the Nepali market. The scooter has been imported by Jumbo Motors Private Limited, the official dealer for Nepal.
The Bravo Electric Scooter is equipped with 3 KW motor and comes in two options of 20 ampere 72 volt and 40 amp 72 volt battery.
The Bravo Electric Scooter can be operated with single or dual battery option. With a single battery it offers a riding range of 100 kms while dual battery extends the range to 200 kms.
With a fast charging option, it takes a maximum of 2 hours to fully charge this scooter while a normal charger takes around 4 hours .
This scooter has features like TFT display, keyless start, wider tires, telescopic suspension, LED lights and disc brakes.
The company has initially imported this scooter for testing purpose in Nepali roads and will soon disclose pricing of this vehicle.
AIMA
Scooters from the Aima brand, the most popular electric vehicle manufacturer in China, are now available in Nepal. Four different vehicles are now available from Himal EV Motors Pvt Ltd., the authorized dealer of AIMA in Nepali market.
Aima brand’s cheapest model currently on offer in Nepal is the Tiger S5. The sporty scooter Tiger S5’s engine is a Bosch unit rated at 1,200 watts, and it is equipped with disc brakes on both wheels and a 72 volt, 20 Ah lead acid battery. It can reach speeds of up to 55 kilometers per hour. The scooter can travel up to 70 kilometers on a full charge, which can take up to 7 hours. OLA Electric
CG Motor under Chaudhary Group has launched two Ola electric scooters in the Nepali market. The company made the announcement at the NADA EV Expo which started today.
The company has launched the S One and S One Pro models produced by Ola, India’s famous ride and sharing company, in Nepali market. Both these scooters have a lot of similarities, but there are differences in price and range.
It was not possible to bring Ola brand earlier to Nepal due to low production and high demand in India for a long time. Currently, Ola has entered Nepal with the increase of its production capacity.
Both the S One and S One Pro scooters have the same 8.5 kW motor. Both these scooters have the same torque of 58 Nm, while the battery S One has 2.98 KWh and Pro 3.97 KWh. Due to the large battery in S One Pro, it also gives more range.
Out of these two, the price of S One electric scooter is Rs 3,75,000 and the price of S One Pro is Rs 4,50,000.
Both the scooters have a 220 mm disc brake at the front and a 180 mm disc brake at the rear. 12-inch alloy wheels, tubeless tires, front single-link and rear mono-shock suspension are available.
