Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC-powered launching soon
It was announced on Tuesday that Vivo’s 5G smartphones, the V23 and V23 Pro, would be available in India starting from January 5, 2022 onwards. In direct sunlight, the two smartphone feature a fluorite AG glass back, which is said to exhibit change in color.
MediaTek Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 1200 SoCs are paired with up to 12GB of RAM in the Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G phones. There’s also 5G connection, a full-HD+ AMOLED display, and a 50-megapixel primary sensor in the twin selfie cameras on both Vivo handsets.

Android 12.0 powers the dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo V23 5G. An AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels adorns the device’s 6.44-inch body. You may get as much as 128GB of onboard storage with the help of the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM.
Optically, it has a 64-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor each equipped with an f/2.4 aperture lens. It has a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an f/2.0 aperture lens up front, as well as an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor and an f/2.28 aperture lens for wide-angle shots.

The Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G have 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, USB OTG, and Bluetooth v5.2. In-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC are all onboard sensors.
When it comes to battery capacity, the Pro variant carries a slightly larger 4,300mAh battery versus a 4,200mAh on the base model. In terms of charging speed, both devices are capable of a 44W fast charging. The first is 157.2×72.42×7.39mm, while the second is 159.46×73.27×7.36mm and weighs 171 grams.
