Vivo X90 Pro Launched With Dimensity 9200, X90 Pro+ With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
China has seen the introduction of the Vivo X90 series. A standard Vivo X90 model, a Pro, and a Pro+ version are all available. It’s the follow-up to last year’s innovative Vivo X80 series of smartphones.

Vivo X90 Pro series Specs and Features
The Vivo X90 Pro and Pro+ feature a 6.78-inch OLED display up front, with rounded corners and a punch-hole cutout in the exact center. Comparatively, the Pro+ model’s display has 2K resolution while the ordinary variant’s has FHD+.
In addition to supporting HDR10+, both devices can refresh at 120 frames per second and reach peak brightness levels of 1,300 nits.
The Pro models have a fingerprint scanner embedded within the screen. Design-wise, the camera modules of both smartphones are round and protrude outward.
Below the camera modules is a horizontal metal bridge that bears the words “Xtreme Imagination” and the names of the companies Vivo and Zeiss, who collaborated on the camera’s development. Both of the X90 Pro models have an IP68 rating for resistance to water.
When it comes to photography, the Vivo X90 Pro and Pro+ include a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for taking perfect self-portraits.
The former features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 primary camera with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX663 ultra-wide camera with a 108-degree field of view, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 portrait lens.

Conversely, the X90 Pro+ features the only f/1.75 aperture in the industry on its primary 1-inch Sony IMX989 50MP sensor.
It has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX758 portrait unit with optical image stabilization, and a 64-megapixel periscope zoom lens with a 90mm focal length and 10x optical zoom.
The ZEISS T* optical lens, dToF laser autofocus, and Vivo V2 ISP are all included in both Pro models.
The Vivo X90 Pro has a Dimensity 9200 processor, whereas the Pro+ has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
Up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage are included in both devices. For the purpose of temperature regulation, there is a VC liquid cooling system.
The X90 Pro has a 4,870mAh battery and can be charged with either a 120W cable or a 50W wireless charger. However, the Pro+ variant has a 4,700mAh battery and can be charged with either 80W or 50W via wired or wireless connections, respectively.
Both X90 Pros come pre-loaded with OriginOS 3, which is based on Android 13.

Price and Availibility
A variety of colors, including Original Black and China Red, are available for the X90 Pro and X90 Pro+. Smartphones will be available for purchase in China beginning on December 6th.
The X90 Pro is available with either 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for RMB 4,999 ($700), 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for RMB 5,499 ($770), or 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for RMB 5,999 ($840).
