Realme is gearing up to launch the 4G variant of the Realme 12 smartphone, which was initially released in March as a 5G model. Tipster Paras Guglani has now shared official renders and marketing materials, revealing the key specifications of the upcoming Realme 12 4G.
The Realme 12 4G will sport a design similar to other devices in the Realme 12 series, featuring a circular camera module on the back. This module will house a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS support and a 2MP macro lens.
On the front, the device will boast a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout at the top.
Under the hood, the Realme 12 4G will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 685 4G chip, the same SoC found in the Redmi Note 13 4G. This chip features four Cortex-A73 cores (2.8GHz) and four Cortex-A53 cores (1.9GHz), along with an Adreno 610 GPU.
The device will come with 8GB of RAM and options for 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. On the software side, it will run on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.
The Realme 12 4G will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery and 67W fast charging support to ensure uninterrupted usage. It will also feature Rainwater smart touch technology, allowing you to use the phone even when it’s wet, and an IP54 dust and water resistance certification.
According to the tipster, the Realme 12 4G is expected to be priced at $189 or between Rs 15,000 and 17,000 in India. Global sales are tipped to commence on June 7th.
