Dell unveils Alienware 34 Curved QD-OLED gaming monitor

At the end of March this year, Alienware will unveil a brand-new gaming monitor. On top of everything else, I should point out that the screen is a 34-inch Quantum Dot OLED panel made by Samsung, which should be mentioned near the top of this piece.
Samsung, which is known for its smaller OLED screens seen in smartphones and tablets, has traditionally been LG Display’s supplier of larger OLED panels (especially for TVs). Alienware’s gaming monitor, however, could be the first of many larger OLEDs to come from Samsung in the future.
As the name suggests, the QD-OLED monitor is a superb PC gaming companion, combining the immersive experience of a curved display with the unrivaled colors and fast response time that only an OLED can provide..” As compared to monitors like Samsung’s Odyssey Neo G9, the QD-OLED offers a more subdued 1800R curve.
The Alienware 34 Curved QD-OLED gaming monitor boasts a 34-inch display with 3,440×1,400 pixels resolution, a 175Hz refresh rate, a 21:9 aspect ratio, 99.3 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 149 percent sRGB color spectrum, and 1000000:1 contrast ratio as the world’s first quantum dot OLED display. VESA DisplayHDR and a 178-degree viewing angle are also supported.
HDMI, DisplayPort, five USB 3.0 Gen 1, one audio line out, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are all included in the system’s connectivity options. Additionally, the new Alienware gaming monitor supports Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate. In terms of dimensions, it is 364.15×815.25×137.11mm and weighs 6.92 kg without the stand attached.
Two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, five USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an audio line-out port, and a 3.5mm headphone socket round out the list of connectivity possibilities. Additionally, the new Alienware gaming monitor supports Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate. In terms of dimensions, it is 364.15×815.25×137.11mm and weighs 6.92 kg without the stand attached.
