LG has introduced a new line of smartphones LG W. The lineup started in India, where it will be sold exclusively online.
Recall, in this way LG wants to follow in the footsteps of Samsung and try to compete with Xiaomi and other brands offering inexpensive smartphones with excellent specifications.
So, while three models are presented: W10, W30 and W30 Pro. The first two are very similar to each other and differ mainly only in cameras and screens.
LG W30 and LG W10
At the heart of the W10 and W30 is the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC ,which is low performing chipset. The basic model W10 comes with a display with a diagonal of 6.2 inches, the older W30 with 6.26 inches. The resolution of both models is HD +, while the younger one received a “bang” notch like the iPhone X and the older one has a water-drop shaped notch.
Both devices come with a battery of capacity 4000 mAh, so with battery life everything should be fine. The phone is comes paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card.
The W10 comes with a front camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels, as well as a main camera with sensors of resolution 13 and 5 megapixels. The W30 front camera has a resolution of 16 MP, and triple rear camera setup of 12 Megapixels, 13 Megapixels and 2 MP.
While LG W10 comes in Tulip Purple and Smokey Grey colour options, the W30 has Thunder Blue, Platinum Grey, and Aurora Green colours.
LG W30 Pro
As for the W30 Pro, details are scarce at the moment because LG is going to launch it very soon but only next month.It is known to be equipped with Snapdragon 632 SOC, which is much more interesting.
LG W30 Pro features a 6.21-inch HD+ FullVision Display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone runs Android 9 Pie and is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 632 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. There is also 64GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card.
The LG W30 Pro has a triple rear camera setup that comprises a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and an 8-megapixel tertiary sensor. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
The LG W30 Pro flaunts Pine Green, Denim Blue, and Black colour variants.
LG W-Series Prices
LG W10 price in India has been set at Rs. 8,999 for the lone 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant, whereas the LG W30 is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the same 3GB RAM + 32GB storage configuration. Both phones will go on sale in the country through a flash sale round on July 3.
