Realme has stepped its foot into home entertainment segment by launching it’s first Realme Smart TV in the indian market today. The company is known for making best price to quality ratio smartphones in india which was launched just two years ago.
Alongside the Realme Smart TV the company also launched several products such as Realme Smart Watch, Realme Air Buds Neo and Realme Power Bank.
Realme’s first smart tv is customized for the indian market and comes in sizes 32 inches with HD Ready resolution and 43 inches in full HD resolution. The price of these smart tv starts at INR 12,999.
The big highlights of both the Realme TVs are ‘bezel-less design’, Chroma Boost Picture Engine, up to 400 nits of brightness, 24W stereo speakers and a powerful 64-bit MediaTek processor.
Realme Smart TV : Specifications and features
Realme Smart TV comes in two screen sizes of 32-inch and 43-inch diagonal display. The 32-inch television features HD ready (720p) panel with 178 degree viewing angle. The 43-inch Realme TV, on the other hand, is a full-HD television. Both sport Chromecast built-in and HDR10 video decoding. It is the first TV in the segment to bring HLG which is another high-quality format for good picture quality.
These televisions feature a MediaTek’s powerful quad-core 64-bit processor meant for smart TVs. The architecture is of an ARM Cortex A53 1.1GHz CPU along with Mali-470 MP3 GPU. As noted by the company, Realme Smart TV RAM is clocked at 2133MHz, which faster than normal 1600MHz RAM used in other TVs. It gets 1GB RAM and 8GB onboard storage.
For audio output, the Realme TV offers 24W down-firing stereo speakers. This is a quad speaker system of two sets of speakers located in the bottom of TV panel. Each set accompanies one full-range speaker and one tweeter. Additionally, it uses Dolby Audio MS12B solution for surround sound capabilities.
Realme smart TV also comes with Chroma Boost technology that enhances the overall picture quality and improves the brightness, color, contrast and clarity of the content.
The Realme Smart TV features seven display modes including Standard, Vivid, Sport, Movie, Game, Energy Saving, User. Consumers can choose different modes when they are watching different content for a better watching experience.
Both the Realme smart TV models provide a bezel-less design with side bezels as thin as 8.7mm.
Realme Smart TV can precisely reproduce the sound from 148Hz to 20,000 Hz, almost cover all frequency that humans can hear and has a wider frequency response range and has absolute advantages in low and high frequency bands.
The Realme smart TV comes with support for most popular streaming media platforms including — Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Live Channel. In addition, third-party videos, music platforms, movies, and programs can also be downloaded through the Play Store. The TV also includes Chromecast Built-in which can synchronize smartphone’s online video programs, movies, TV, music and other content to watch on the TV.
Realme smart TV comes with 3 HDMI, 2 USB, SPDIF (optical fiber copper shaft, audio transmission interface) and DVB-T2 (Digital TV interface), Ethernet (network port) in the box.
The smart TV remote control offers an ergonomic design and includes quick buttons for YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video. It also includes Google assistant button. The quick button and built-in microphones make activate Google Assistant in a more convenient way, claims Realme. The remote comes bundled with the TV.
Realme Smart TV Price in Nepal
The Realme Smart TV 32-inch variant is priced at INR. 12,999, while the 43-inch variant is priced at INR. 21,999. The television will go on sale on June 2 at 12pm IST (noon), and will initially be available on Flipkart and Realme.com.
