Pashupatinath Temple

Starting from June 15, the Pashupatinath Temple will open all four of its gates at 4 AM, as reported on May 29. This decision aims to cater to the growing number of pilgrims, as stated by Rewati Raman Adhikari, the spokesperson for the Pashupati Area Development Trust.

Currently, the temple’s main gate is opened at 4 AM, while the other three gates are not opened until 8:30 AM. However, from June 15, all four gates will be opened simultaneously at 4 AM to better serve the devotees, Adhikari added.

Typically, all four gates of the temple are only opened at 4 AM on special occasions, such as Mahashivaratri, Haritalika Teej, and Bala Chaturdashi.
