BYD Sealion 7 SUV Set to Launch in Nepal Tomorrow

Kathmandu, Nepal – Chinese automaker BYD is set to introduce its new SUV, the BYD Sealion 7, to the Nepali market. Simec Inc., the official distributor for BYD in Nepal, will launch the vehicle starting this Friday.
The Sealion 7 was previously showcased at last year’s NADA Auto Show, and its commercial sale has now been confirmed.

The new SUV is expected to compete with existing models in the market such as the Deepal S07, Mahindra BE.05 and XUV.e9, and Leapmotor C10. Measuring 4.8 meters in length, the Sealion 7 promises a robust presence on Nepali roads.
Under the hood, the Sealion 7 is powered by a 100 kW motor paired with an 82 kWh battery pack. BYD claims the vehicle will offer an impressive range of over 500 kilometers on a single full charge.
Inside, the SUV boasts a 15.6-inch rotatable touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital cluster. Similar to the BYD Seal, it also features a head-up display.
Other notable features include a panoramic glass sunroof, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, reversing camera, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, six airbags, radar, multiple cameras, 12 sensors, blind-spot warning, high beam assist, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, front and rear cross-traffic alert with braking, traffic sign recognition, automatic emergency braking system, and door open warning.
The estimated price for the BYD Sealion 7 in Nepal is expected to be between NPR 7.2 million and NPR 7.5 million (72-75 Lakhs).
