Yamaha ZR Street Rally launched in Nepali market
Morang Auto Works, the authorised dealer of Yamaha two-wheelers for Nepal has launched Yamaha Ray ZR ‘Street Rally’ edition in Nepali market today.
The new Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally edition is available in two colour options — Rally Red and Racing Blue — with interesting graphics.
The new front visor fairing is inspired from Yamaha MT-09 sportbike and the company says that it serving as the wind deflector while enhancing the sporty look as well.
The new visor comes with integrated knuckle guards which protect from windblast on the handle grips. The rear view mirrors are also new and are sharper than before, and the scooter also features a digital meter.
There is no mechanical update on the scooter and the Street Rally edition continues to get the same 7.2PS and a torque of 8.1Nm from the 113cc air-cooled engine. Based on the Yamaha’s patented “Blue Core” technology – claimed to provide optimum performance and efficiency – the motor get a continously variable transmission(CVT) unit.
The edition also gets the 170mm front disc brakes as standard.
The sporty scooter stands abreast its popular competitors, including Honda Activa 4G, TVS Jupiter and Honda Dio.
Morang Auto Works has set the price of Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally UBS scooter at Rs.2,17,900.
