OPPO Find X5 Pro launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, MariSilicon X, 50 MP dual cameras and more
OPPO, the Chinese tech behemoth and a BBK subsidiary, has unveiled the Find X series’ newest flagship. The Find X5 series, which includes the Find X5 and Find X5 Pro, is the newest model.
The premium flagship model OPPO Find X5 Pro, as you might imagine, outperforms the X5 in a variety of areas, including picture processing, battery life, and even build quality.
On Thursday(February 24), Oppo announced the Find X5, the Find X5 Pro, and the Find X5 Lite . To improve image processing, the Oppo X5 and X5 Pro phones use a dedicated Oppo MariSilicon X chip.

Oppo and Hasselblad worked together to develop software improvements to the cameras on the Find X5 and Find X5 Pro.
In addition, the phones include water-resistance certification which comes with IP68 standard.
The Oppo Find X5 Lite 5G, on the other hand, has also been introduced as a more affordable option. The Oppo Reno 7 5G, which was launched in India last month under a different moniker, is essentially the same device.
Specifications of Oppo Find X5 Pro
On the Oppo Find X5 Pro, ColorOS 12.1 is based on Android 12 and features a dual-SIM (Nano+eSIM).
Low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) technology powers a 6.70-inch 10-bit QHD+ (1,440×3,216 pixels) AMOLED panel that offers 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus safeguard the screen. The Find X5 Pro has an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
In terms of cameras, the phone has a Sony IMX766 sensor with 50MP wide resolution and an additional Sony IMX766 sensor with 50MP ultrawide resolution. A third 13-megapixel telephoto sensor offers a 2x optical magnification (52mm) and a 5-times hybrid zoom.
With the new 13-channel color sensor, Hasselblad’s Natural Color Calibration feature can be used. OPPO also added a glass front element on the cameras in order to increase color accuracy and eliminate chromatic aberrations. An all-new 5-axis optical picture stabilization system that utilizes lens and sensor shift technology is also included.
For the most essential update on the phone, the camera processor, the Find X5 Pro is equipped with a self-developed 6nm MariSilicon X chip. For example, the processor does AI noise reduction and a wide range of image processing tasks, including 4K Ultra Night Video with reduced photographic noise and better colors than ordinary night video. On top of that, OPPO claims that the picture chip is capable of recording HDR video at 20-bits per channel.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front-facing camera with an f/2.4 lens for taking selfies and video chats.
There is no microSD card expansion for the Oppo Find X5 Pro’s 256GB of storage. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity choices available.
The pedometer, magnetometer, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor are all built into the device itself. An in-display fingerprint sensor is also included.
Users can utilize Air Gestures on the Find X5 Pro to control apps like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok without having to touch the screen, which is another nice feature.
Additionally, there’s 10W reverse wireless charging on the Find X5 Pro as well as the Oppo Find X5, so it’s a perfect match.
