ZTE Axon 10s Pro joins the race to unveil the first smartphone with Snapdragon 865

The ZTE Axon 10s Pro is fundamentally a 2019 ZTE Axon 10 Pro, but equipped with the new Qualcomm processor, hence it comes substantially with improved performance.

Samsung will no longer be the first brand to officially announce a phone with the Snapdragon 865, but ZTE will certainly not be the first to place it on the market. Looking forward to return to the race after the toughness with which it was hit a few years ago by American sanctions, ZTE today revealed the ZTE Axon 10s Pro, without giving further details about the date of availibility or its price details. As per the details from the official website, the ZTE Axon 10 Pro features an AMOLED 6.47-inch screen with water drop notch with Full HD + at 2340X1080 pixels resolution.

The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 865 chipset and comes in two variants of RAM and storage : 6 GB/128GB and 12GB /256GB.

The premium variant of ZTE Axon 10s Pro will feature a 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 memory storage.

On the rear panel , the main cameras will be of 48MP main camera, a 20MP ultra-wide angle and an 8MP telephoto camera. For selfies, the device comes with 20 MP camera housed in the water drop notch.

The inclusion of the Snapdragon 865 not only guarantees more power, but also supports 5G and Wi-Fi 6. ZTE adds its Link Booster to switch between Wi-Fi, LTE and 5G without data loss.

The device will be powered by a 4000 mAH battery along with Wi-Fi 6 module in a case of 7.9 mm thickness. The device will run on Android 10 operating system.

The device is expected to retail around $470 in Asian markets.
