Vivo Y22s Launched With Snapdragon 680 SoC, Dual Rear Cameras : Specs, Price

The Vivo Y22s, a new handset in the company’s Y series with a focus on value for money, was released after much speculation and leaks.

Vivo Y22s specifications

The Vivo Y22s has a 6.55-inch, full-HD (720 x 1,612) LCD display, an Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 operating system, a 90Hz refresh rate, an 89.67 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a peak brightness of 530 nits.

In order to accommodate the front-facing camera, the screen features a small notch in the shape of a water drop.

The new Vivo Y series phone is equipped with an 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 680 SoC by Qualcomm. Memory may be upgraded to a maximum of 16GB by utilizing the included microSD slot.

The Vivo Y22s sports a 50-megapixel main sensor and an f/1.8 lens, both of which are housed within a dual-camera setup on the device’s back. A 2-megapixel bokeh sensor and f/2.4 lens are also part of the camera system.

It also includes a front-facing 8-megapixel camera for taking photos and video chatting. As an added bonus, the Vivo Y22s has 128GB of internal storage that can be increased with a microSD card (up to 1TB).

The Vivo Y22s features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, Glonass, NFC, OTG, FM radio, and a USB Type-C connector among its connectivity choices.

 

An electronic compass, gravity sensor, light sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor are only some of the on-board sensors. The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the side and a face unlock feature.

The battery of the Vivo Y22s is 5,000mAh and it’s capable of 18W rapid charging. The battery life is advertised to be up to 9.4 hours of gaming or 21.5 hours of internet HD video streaming on a single charge.

Also, it’s said to have a standby time of two days on a single charge. The handset is 192 grams and has dimensions of 164.30 x 76.10 x 8.38 mm.
