The newest member of the Vivo Y-series of smartphones, the Y22, has made its debut in Nepal. The handset has a display with a waterdrop-style notch and a MediaTek Helio G85 gaming-focused SoC.
To improve performance, it has a built-in feature called Extended RAM 2.0 that lets you add up to 2GB of extra memory via the device’s storage.
The Vivo Y22 has a 5,000 mAh battery and a dual camera setup on the back, the main one being a 50-megapixel shooter. It also supports 18W fast charging.

The Vivo Y22 has a 6.55-inch full-HD (720 x 1,612) LCD display with an 89.67 percent screen-to-body ratio and 530 nits of peak brightness, and it operates on Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12.
To accommodate the front-facing camera, a waterdrop-shaped notch has been carved out of the screen. MediaTek’s Helio G85 gaming-focused SoC and up to 6GB of RAM fuel the latest Vivo smartphone.
Extended RAM 2.0 allows for up to 8GB of RAM to be added via internal storage expansion.
The Vivo Y22 has a 50-megapixel main sensor and an f/1.8 aperture lens for taking photos and recording video.
A 2-megapixel bokeh sensor and f/2.4 lens are also a part of the camera system. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel unit with an f/2.0 aperture, making it ideal for taking selfies and engaging in video chats.
The Vivo Y22 has a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 128GB in size (up to 1TB). The Vivo Y22 features dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, Glonass, NFC, OTG, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity.
Onboard sensors include a gyroscope, proximity sensor, gyroscope, light sensor, light sensor, and gravity sensor. In addition, the phone has a fingerprint reader on the side for added security.
The battery on the Vivo Y22 is 5,000mAh and it supports 18W quick charging.
In terms of protection from dust and water, the phone has an IP54 rating.

Vivo Y22 Price in Nepal
Available in a lone configuration of 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration of the Vivo Y22 costs Rs. 22,999 in Nepali market. A model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space is also in the works for release.
