New high-end smartphones from Samsung have already arrived. In addition to the even more ambitious Galaxy S22 Ultra, the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ are part of a trio launched by the Korean tech giant for this year.
The Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy 22 are identical models in many aspects and share many of the features with even the premium Ultra model. But the key differences lies in the size of the display and the battery capacity between these models.
The Samsung Galaxy S22+ features a large display of 6.6 inches while the Galaxy S22 gets a small 6.1 inches. The battery capacity is also smaller on the Galaxy S22 featuring a 3750 mAh capacity while the larger S22+ model gets a 4500 mAh capacity.

Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S22+
With One UI 4.1 overlaid on top of Android 12, the Samsung Galaxy S22+ is powered by Google. There is a 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with full HD+ resolution that can be used in conjunction with Samsung’s Eye Comfort Shield for blue light control, and a refresh rate of 120Hz that can be lowered to 10Hz. An octacore 4nm SoC and up to 12GB of RAM power the Galaxy S22+.
An f/2.2 lens and a 120-degree field of vision are included in Samsung Galaxy S22+’s triple rear camera arrangement, which boasts 12-megapixels of Ultra wide angle resolution. Dual Pixel autofocus wide angle 50 MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture lens; and a 10-megapixel wide-angle camera with 3x optical zoom, OIS, and an f/2.4 aperture lens are also included in the phone’s camera setup.
The 10-megapixel front-facing camera on the Samsung Galaxy S22 has an aperture of f/2.2 and an angle of vision of 80 degrees.
Up to 256 GB of internal storage is available on the Samsung Galaxy S22, which also has a USB Type-C connection, as well as support for 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, GPS 4, and A-GPS.
This device is equipped with sensors including a gyroscope and a proximity sensor in addition to the accelerometer.
In addition, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor is included with the device. Powered by a 4,500mAh battery, the Samsung Galaxy S22 is capable of 45W rapid charging, as well as wireless 15W charging and Wireless PowerShare reverse wireless charging.
At 157.4 by 75.8 by 7 mm, the phone weighs 196 grams.
