Redmi A1 Plus was introduced in Nepal on Friday as the newest budget-friendly model from Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi.
The new smartphone features a display with a water-drop-style notch and a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC.
The Redmi A1+ is available in three various color options with a leather texture finish and features a dual 8-megapixel camera system supported by artificial intelligence.
It features a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging capabilities. The Redmi A1+ is available in two RAM and storage variants, with a maximum of 32GB of internal storage.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi A1+ runs Android 12 and has a 6.52-inch HD+ (1,600×700 pixels) display with 120Hz touch sampling rate, 400 nits of peak brightness, and 20:9 aspect ratio.
The display covers 70% of the NTSC color space and incorporates a waterdrop-shaped notch. The new Redmi smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC with up to 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM and an IMG PowerVR GPU.
The Redmi A1+ optics’ consist of an AI-supported dual rear camera unit with an 8-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies and video chats, the phone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera sensor.
The Redmi A1+ has 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card expansion slot that accepts cards up to 512GB in size.
The Redmi A1+ features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and a 3.5mm audio port for connectivity.
The phone is equipped with an accelerometer and a fingerprint sensor on the rear. Similar to the Redmi A1, the Redmi A1+ supports over twenty Indian languages.
The Redmi A1+ is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging capabilities. The battery reportedly provides 30 days of standby time and 30 hours of video playback time.
In addition, it is 76.75 x 164.9 x 9.09 mm in size and weighs 192 grams.

Redmi A1 Plus Price in Nepal
Redmi A1+ is priced at Rs.12,499 for the base model with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. The phone is also available in a 3GB + 32GB configuration for Rs. 13,999.
It is available in Black, Light Blue, and Light Green hues.
Xiaomi recently introduced the Redmi A1 in India for INR. 6,499 for the only configuration with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage.
