On Wednesday, Honor debuted the Honor 80 series alongside the Honor Magic Vs foldable smartphone in China. This new Honor series includes the Honor 80, Honor 80 Pro, and Honor 80 SE.
For its flagship Honor 80 Pro, the company has opted for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It has a 1.57K curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and measures 6.78 inches in diagonal size.
In contrast to the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC found in the Honor 80 SE, the standard Honor 80 is powered by a Snapdragon 782G SoC.
These three mobile devices are all powered by Magic OS 7.0, which is based on Android 12.

Honor 80 Specifications and Features
The basic Honor 80 model shares many of the it’s features and specs with the Pro model.
It has a 6.67-inch curved OLED screen that can display full HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) at 120 frames per second. It has a Snapdragon 782G system-on-chip (SoC) and an Adreno 642L graphics processing unit (GPU).
The 32-megapixel front-facing camera on the Honor 80 , meanwhile, is accessible through a punch hole cutout into the phone’s otherwise solid front panel. You may capture full 1080p resolution with this front-facing camera.
In contrast, the back hosts a triple camera array with a 160 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro camera.
The model’s camera module on the back is shaped like a stylized number 8.
Honor says the Honor 80 measures 161.6 x 73.9 x 7.7 mm and weighs around 180 g.
The battery capacity is 4,800 mAh, just like the Pro version, and it supports 66W fast charging, which is supposed to allow for a full charge from 3% to 50% in just 15 minutes.
MagicOS 7.0, an OS based on Google’s Android 12 platform, is preinstalled and ready to go right out of the box on the device as well.

Comparatively, the 12GB + 256GB model can be purchased for CNY 2,999 (about USD 420), while the 12GB + 512GB storage variant is available for CNY 3,299 (approximately USD 462)
