Honor 50 Lite launched in Nepali market with Snapdragon 662 SoC, Quad rear cameras and more

Honor has re-entered the Nepali market with the launch of its mid-range smartphone Honor 50 Lite, which the Chinese business formally announced in August 2021.

The company has remained dormant since last few years after the US imposed ban on it’s parent company Huawei.

Since most Huawei and Honor smartphones are barred from providing Google Services on it’s phones, the company has lost it’s sales in the global markets and has been focusing only in the domestic market in the mainland.

Moving on, Honor Nepal has launched the Honor 50 Lite which actually supports Google Mobile Services in this device and boots on Android 11 operating system out of the box.

The Honor 50 Lite has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and 6GB of RAM to keep you going all day long. Honor has also included a quad-camera configuration on the back for professional vloggers and photographers, as well as 128GB of storage space. You can rely on a better overall user experience with this device.

Display and Camera
With a screen resolution of 1080p x 2400, the Honor 50 Lite’s 6.67-inch IPS LCD display has 395ppi pixel density. In addition to the aspect ratio of 20:9, the smartphone features a punch-hole notch with no bezels. The display’s built-in brightness and color temperature adjusting features ensure a pleasant viewing experience.

There are four cameras on the Honor 50 Lite’s back: a 64 MP f/1.9 main camera is assisted by  8MP f/2.4 wide-angle camera, an additional 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor, and another 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. To capture stunning photographs in any lighting situation, this quad camera system features an AI enabled Ultra Clear mode and Noise Reduction Algorithm. This phone has a 16MP front-facing camera that produces stunning images.

Performance

Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 and 6GB of RAM power the Honor 50 Lite. The octa-core processor consists of a dual Kryo 260 arrangement and an Adreno 610 GPU, ensuring that the device will run consistently and deliver amazing graphics.

A respectable Li-Polymer 4300mAh battery powers the Honor 50 Lite. In addition to the 66W Super Charging mechanism, the battery is non-removable.

Connectivity and Data Storage

Internal storage on the smartphone is limited to 128GB and cannot be expanded further. Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, NFC, Bluetooth v5.1 and A-GPS are all supported on the Honor 50 Lite.
