Vivo is expanding its arms in Indian market with the launch of Y-Series smartphones for the budget segment. The company last month launched the Vivo Y17 phone and the company has brought a new toned down version of it in a more affordable price package.
Much of the highlight features of Y15 match with the Vivo Y17, as it also comes with AI Triple camera setup on the rear and comes with a powerful 5000 mAh battery.
The dual SIM smartphone features a 6.35-inch Halo FullView LCD display, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage.
Supporting the “Make In India” initiative, the ‘Y15’ smartphone is being manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility, the company said in a statement.
The Vivo Y15 (2019) sports a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, 8-megapixel super-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field-of-view and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. At the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture housed in a waterdrop notch.The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Equipped with the MediaTek Helio P22 processor, the device runs Funtouch operating system (OS) 9, based on Android 9 Pie.

The Vivo ‘Y15’ smartphone is available in aqua blue and burgundy red colors across offline stores as well as online platforms including Flipkart and Amazon India.
Price in Nepal
Vivo has priced the Y15 for INR 13,990(NRs 22,384) in Indian market at will be available from all major online shopping platforms starting today.
Vivo Nepal is expected to launch the Vivo Y15 in Nepali market in a months time later in June. The price of Vivo Y15 in Nepali market is expected to be around NRs 25,000.
Update : Vivo Y15 has now been launched in Nepali market at a price tag of Rs 25,790 Rs 24,190 for the 4 GB and 64 GB internal storage option. The price has been revised on 9th Sept 2019.
